Today’s swim was pure presence

✨ 120 lengths = 3km

But what truly made it beautiful was my intention—to swim with ease and calm.

And you know what? I forgot my water bottle… yet I didn’t come out with a headache.

Why? I genuinely believe it was because of the intention I set.

Before I even hit the water, I visualised the swim. I felt the calm I wanted to experience. I made myself feel how I wanted to feel. And it came about. 🧘‍♀️💦

There was something really special about today.

I focused on the pull of my freestyle (my arms definitely got a workout 😅), and I slowed my tumble turns right down to fine-tune my technique. Some were smooth, others… well, still a bit flaily 😂 But that’s part of it—I’m reconditioning my body and mind to work together.

So why was today’s swim more pleasant?

Honestly, I reckon it was mindset. That intention for calm. That feeling of being in flow before I even began.

Powerful stuff.

If you’ve been following my BigSwim journey, I’ve just shared two raw, honest blog posts—about the highs, the headaches, and everything in between. You can read them in my blog 💙
